Q1: That is good for getting the Blob to the PB 6.5 application. However, did that method really return the full entire blob data from the DBMS?
Q2: Suresh then needs to break a part the data stream into 32K chunks using the FileWrite method . Will the FileWrite will then crash on this very large blob stream?
Q3: What is (was) PB 6.x's actual blob memory handling size? I seem to remember that a blob variable's real limit was < 1G in that old release of PB - but, I can't find any internal PowerSoft documentation to verify that. For example, PB documented String variables in those days as 64K but internally PB could handle 82K. Something tells me though that the BLOB variable's internal handling was much smaller than published. I just can't remember that far back accurately..
