SMTP configuration for Non ERMS functionality

Hello All,

our client wants to implement  non-ERMS functionality where in CRM server it self is used as mail server.

We started with "SCOT" transaction to configure the SAP Connect to configure SMTP Server.

Here is our major confusion in section SMTP connection for Mail Host what should be used

Our CRM server name is "CRMXXX_CR1_00"

Should we name the Mail host as "smtp.CRMXXX_CR1_00" or "Mail. CRMXXX_CR1_00" or just "CRMXXX_CR1_00"?

Secondly how should we name the incoming email addressess

email1@smtp.CRMXXX_CR1_00 or email1@CRMXXX_CR1_00.
